Renowned Pete Actress Rehema Konde is Dead

The film industry has been hit hard following the death of renowned actress Rehema Konde.

Rehema’s death was announced on social media on Monday, February 21, although the cause of her death is not known.

Rehema Konde’s Death

The TV queen is known for her role in the famous Pete series where she acted as Mama Jinale.

Taking to her Instagram account, TV presenter Lulu Hassan mourned Rehema in an emotional post.

According to Lulu, she had spoken to Rehema the previous night and was not sure that was to be their last conversation.

“Inna lillahi wa ina illayhi Rajiun…We had plans for our upcoming project but Allah had better plans for you…We will truly miss you ‘Bi Salama”…mcheshi,mpole,mpenda kazi na zaidi mpenda watu.sikujua jana tungekuwa na maongezi yetu ya mwisho ila tunasema kazi ya Mungu haina makosa…Yeye anajuwa zaidi,kwetu ni dua na Mungu akuweke mahali pema palipo wema inshaAllah,” wrote Lulu.

Rashid Abdalla also took to social media to mourn the TV goddess. The Citizen TV news anchor described Rehema’s death as a blow to the industry.

He thanked her for her contribution to the industry while she was alive.

“Nenda salama Bi Salama. Mola akailaze roho yako pema salama Bi Salama. Kwa pigo hili hakika hujatuacha salama Bi Salama lakini tunashukuru uwepo wako na mchango wako katika uhai wako,” wrote Rashid.
