Congregants Embarrass Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi Before His Wife

Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi had a very embarrassing moment during a recent prayer summit he attended with his wife.

Kiraitu was left with an egg on his face after the congregants unanimously said they will not vote for him in the coming August elections.

In a video making rounds on social media, the governor’s wife could be heard asking the congregants if they had seen his work and they all responded by saying no.

“Your Governor is standing before you today, have you seen his work?” Asked Murungi’s wife. “No.” the crowd responded.

Kiraitu Murungi Rejected

In a bid to confirm what she had heard, the Meru county first lady asked for a second time and this time, it was evident the crowd was not in favour of Kiraitu.

“You mean you have not seen his work? Let me see by the show of hands how many people are going to vote for him,” asked Kiraitu’s wife.
