Pub Owner Shames Couple For Failing to Pay 27K Lavish Valentine’s Dinner

–The owners of the award-winning Pub took to social media in hopes of getting paid for their services

A pub owner has taken to social media to expose a couple that failed to pay their Valentine’s Dinner amounting to KSh 27,700 (£179).

In a Facebook post, the owner of The Mill, in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, shared a receipt of the couple’s lavish meals.

Pub Owner Exposes Couple

According to the receipt, the couple enjoyed steak, lobster, halloumi fries, two servings of mussels, a Thai green curry, and four bottles of wine.

The pub owner stated in the post that the couple, who were not identified by name or photo, had time to pay the bill on February 15 at 4pm

In a Facebook post, the pub owner wrote:

Whilst we’re sure it was an honest mistake on your part that you left without paying, please pay your bill by 4 o clock today. You were sat opposite a camera & the CCTV couldn’t be clearer.”

An update made on The Mill’s page said the bill was cleared on February 15.

“Last thing on this….. The bill has been paid by an anonymous female believed to be his girlfriend! Bless, who said romance is dead ,” read the post.
