Bahati accused of Not Paying Videographer Ksh 150K

Former gospel singer Kelvin Kioko Bahati has been accused of failing to pay a videographer.
In a demand letter shared on Instagram by Buzzroom Kenya, a man identified as Jeremiah Mathambu Thomas (JT)is demanding that the singer pays him KSh 150,000.

According to the letter which is dated March 30th, JT is demanding for payment as a presenter and videographer services on Bahati’s Eastlands Most Beloved (E.M.B) Media.
“We have been retained and instructed by our above named client Jeremiah Muthambu Thomas (JT) to write and demand from you, which we hereby do the immediate payment of KSh 150,000/= same being the outstanding and agreed amount for the video and presenter services given to you by our client in your E.M.B Media which services you consumed,” read the demand letter from Katunga Mbuvi & Co Advocated.
Bahati Given 7 Day Notice
The Taniua hitmaker had been given a grace period of 7 days to clear the pending debt, otherwise a suit be filed at the Nairobi High Court.
“TAKE NOTICE that if the above stated sum of KSh 150,000 is NOT paid to our client, Jeremiah Muthambu Thomas within SEVEN (7) days from the date of service of this demand letter, we have clear and mandatory instructions to institute a recovery suit against you at the High Court in Nairobi without any further reference,” read the letter.
