Ali Kiba’s Wife Files For Divorce, Demands KSh 200K Monthly Upkeep

Tanzanian bongo star Ally Salehe Kiba alias Ali Kiba’s wife Amina Khalef has applied to have their marriage dissolved by the Kadhi’s court.
Amina filed for divorce at the Mombasa Kadhi’s court after close to four years in marriage.

Ali Kiba’s Wife Files For Divorce
According to a report by The Standard, the Kenyan beauty filed for divorce from Ali Kiba citing stress and neglect.
The Utu hitmaker and Amina said I do in accordance with Islamic Law on April 19, 2018, in an elegant wedding held in Mombasa.
The couple later proceeded to live in Dar es Salam Tanzania.

According to the petition, Amina left her matrimonial home in Tanzania in October 2018 due to her mental health while pregnant and as a result of the conflict with Kiba.
In the affidavit, Amina disclosed that Kiba has not been consistent in providing maintenance and upkeep for her and their children.
She revealed that the maintenance provided by Kiba was insufficient and would come after a back and forth.
The mother of two is demanding a KSh200,000 monthly allowance for the upkeep of their two children.
She also claimed that the bongo star would be verbally abusive to her in front of his friends.
“I have not in any manner condoned the Respondent’s (Kiba) acts of desertion as particularized in the petition. It would be in the interest of justice that the marriage is dissolved,” Amina said.
Amina through her affidavit said that the marriage was broken and there was no room for reconciliation.
“Despite reaching out to Kiba to try to resolve their matrimonial disputes, Kiba has been unwilling and unresponsive to the petitioner’s efforts,” reads the petition.
