Barbadian singer, songwriter cum businesswoman Rihanna has announced opening a line of her beauty products in Kenya and eight other African countries.
Rihanna made this announcement on Tuesday on her social media platforms something that elicited a lot of excitement from her followers especially those who have had to import the products.

The other African countries include Botswana, Ghana, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The launch is set to take place on May 27, 2022
“I have been waiting for this moment Fenty Beauty and Fenty skin are finally in Africa,” said Rihanna on her twitter account.
The Fenty Beauty and Fenty skin products made their entry into the make-up world on September 8, 2017.
It produces a wide variety of beauty products including perfumes, foundation which has up to 50 shades, lipstick, cleansers, and toners among others.
The Diamond hitmaker co-owns the company with LVMH, a French Luxury goods group. With its entry into Africa, the market for beauty and personal care products is set to grow by $1.26 billion between 2021 and 2025.
According to Forbes magazine, Rihanna’s net worth currently stands at $ 1.7 billion, making the 33-year-old the second richest female entertainer after Oprah Winfrey, something that is attributed to her successful venture into the world of fashion and beauty.
