Akothee Discloses Wedding With Ex-Husband Cost KSh 2K

Kenyan musician Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee has for the first time disclosed how much her wedding with her ex-hubby cost.

Taking to her social media pages, the single mother of five shared a throwback photo of her wedding, remembering what transpired then.

Akothee’s Wedding

According to Akothee, the wedding was done in a rush so that her then hubby Jared Okello could fly to the Bahamas.

The Rollam hitmaker said that Jared was to travel with their marriage certificate to make it easy to invite her and the kids abroad.

“I was broken before I was built! On my big wedding day! We had to do this wedding bikos , my husband was to travel to the Bahamas! He wanted to go with our marriage certificate so it will be easy for him to invite us??, I was looking forward to stepping into AMERICA like This ???,” Akothee wrote.

Akothee disclosed that their big event cost them KSh 2000 adding that they had borrowed one car from a friend to chauffeur them.

The self-proclaimed president of single mothers was happy to announce that they were so much in marriage and raised their children well.

“My wedding cost 2000 KSh?We borrowed just one car from A friend ??We were very much in marriage, we brought up our kids on a very strong church background?The only thing I don’t understand this photo ( Why was I sad? On my big day),” added the musician.

In other news, Akothee was recently accused of withholding her employee’s salary.

According to the lady only identified as Brenda, the single mother of five failed to pay her after being her videographer for two months.

The businesswoman took to social media saying that she was not going to pay Brenda since she did not deliver to her expectations.
