TV Anchor Rashid Abdalla Remembers Dad on His 26th Death Anniversary
-Rashid Abdalla is today celebrating his late dad’s 26th anniversary
-In a post on his Instagram account, the Citizen TV journalist disclosed that his dad died on May 5, 1996
-He thanked God for granting him a dad and prayed that all his sins be forgiven
Citizen TV news anchor Rashid Abdalla still holds his dad dear 26 years after his death.
Taking to his social media pages on Thursday, May5, the Swahili news anchor remembered his dad in an emotional message.

Rashid Abdalla Remembers Late Dad
In his post, Rashid describe his late father as his best friend saying that he will always thank God for giving him a dad like him.
“Tarehe kama ya leo 1996 babangu uliye rafiki yangu uliaga dunia. Daima ntamshukuru Mungu kwa kunipa baba kama wewe,” wrote Rashid.
He also dedicated a prayer to his father asking God to protect and forgive him all his sins.
“Endelea kulala pema Mr. Abdallah, Mwenyezi Mungu akulinde na adhabu ya kaburi, akusamehe dhambi zako za siri na dhahiri. Siku ya hesabu ukabidhiwe kitabu chako kwa mkono wa kulia Inshallah Amin,” added the journalist.
