Kenya’s self-proclaimed president of comedy Eric Omondi has accused Young, Famous and African show producers of stealing his ideas.
In a post on his Instagram stories, the comedian alleged the Netflix’s show ideas were derived from his Wife Material show.

According to Eric, the show adapted his Wife Material Show’s format. He believes that someone was watching the show and stole the format from them.
“The format used n #YoungFamousAndAfrican is the same format for Wife Material. It is either someone has been watching and stole the format from us ama it’s a really good coincidence,” wrote Eric.

The comedian also shared a snippet from his Wife Material show reminding his followers that they had the idea before the Young, Famous and African Show.
“Just a reminder that we’ve done it before, you just didn’t pay enough attention???. But now you are alert. Now you get it,” he wrote.
