Sportswear giant Adidas has been called out after cutting ties with West Ham Player Kurt Zouma.
Adidas ended its deal Zouma after a video of him mistreating his pet cat emerged.
“We have concluded our investigation and can confirm Kurt Zouma is no longer an Adidas-contracted athlete.”
Following the announcement from the sportswear giant, netizens took to social media to express their disappointment in the sports giant.
Social media users accused the company of racial bias saying the punishment was too harsh for the West Ham defender.
Adidas Faces Backlash
“Prince Andrew and the Paedophile review – a grisly story of sexual abuse and royal palaces. Have Queen Elizabeth subjects cancelled his rapist son Andrew or all their hate is directed towards one black man, Kurt Happy Zouma?”
Another tweep identified as @danmatunda lamented:
“If only black people were treated as cats in England, I swear Racism could have come come to an end but unfortunately #CatsLivesMatter more than #BlackLivesMatter What Zouma did was wrong but what adidas did in return was worse.”

Below are more reactions from fans.
A horse is made to run faster out of pain gotten from whipping them repeatedly.
Adidas, Puma, Nike, Umbro and all sport boot makers use animal skin for their products but side kicking a cat is supposed to mean you face stern calls.

He has apologised for his wrong.
But it is not enough.
The cat has been taken from him
But it’s not enough.
He is fined £250,000 Pounds.
But it’s not enough.
He has lost his Adidas deal.
That’s not enough.
They won’t stop until he is dead.
For kicking a cat.
This is madness. pic.twitter.com/WLs2ycW7M5
