It is already 10 years since music icon Whitney Houston died.
On the night Houston died in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, the legendary singer she was preparing to attend her mentor’s Clive Davis gala.
Her drowning was caused by the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.
The ‘I will always love you‘ hitmaker departed from the world at the age of 48 after she drowned in the bathtub.
Houston came into the music scene in the 1980s when she recorded some of the most celebrated pop hits.
The ‘I Have Nothing hitmaker‘ sank into addiction in the 2000s as she was also going through a tough marriage to Bobby Brown.
