Elon Musk, Grimes Secretly Welcome 2nd Child, Baby ‘X’

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and singer Grimes have revealed they have a second child together.

Speaking during an interview with Vanity Fair, Grimes disclosed that she and Elon welcomed their daughter in December 2021.

Elon, 50, and Grimes, 34, welcomed their little bundle of joy via a surrogate just months after they welcomed their son X Æ A-Xii.

The musician only revealed that her family had really grown after her daughter began wailing from upstairs during the interview.

Grimes did not share their daughter’s name but she revealed that they call the newborn “Y”. The pair also call their son “X”.

The little girl is Elon’s first daughter as he already has 6 sons from his past relationships.

News of the birth of baby X comes just months after the singer and the CEO announced their separation.

Speaking about the matter in September 2019, the Tesla CEO confirmed that he and Grimes were semi-separated but remain on good terms.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the 34-year-old singer said she would refer to Elon Musk as her boyfriend despite them living in separate houses.

“I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We live in separate houses. We’re best friends. We see each other all the time,” she told Vanity Fair. 

According to Grimes, the two have their own thing going on and all they need is to be free.

“We just have our own thing going on and I don’t expect other people to understand it. This is the best it’s ever been. We just need to be free,” added Grimes. 

According to the singer, they still want more kids adding that they have always wanted at least three or four.

Elon Musk’s Love History

Elon was previously married to renowned author Justine Wilson, with whom he had six sons.

Their first son Nevada was born in 2002b but died of sudden infant death syndrome at 10 weeks, leaving them with five sons: twins Griffin and Xavier, 18, and triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai, 16.

The CEO was also married twice to actress Talulah Riley in 2010 but divorced in 2012. The two later reconciled and remarried in 2013 before divorcing again in 2016.
